My kid My spilled water on a computer. My laptop and hdd are unusable so that is the main problem, that is how i lost my private key.

Water damage will not destroy your harddrive. You can still access that harddrive on another computer or run recovery software, if you need
to recover data from that drive. In most cases only the controller card on the harddrive might have received a bit of damage and that can be
replaced. { Did your kid bath with the notebook or did he just spill some water on it? } All is not lost.... just keep the hdd.
