Every religion is a means of communion. Mankind has long abandoned the slave system and only religion since that time has not changed. There are more backward Muslim countries that turn a blind eye to slavery. It was there that Islam developed in a greater degree of radicalism.

Religion is not a means of communication, but a means of controlling slaves. People think that they are free, but in fact they are slaves of religion.

This is true. But there are 2 major points about this.

1. From the definition of religion (http://www.dictionary.com/browse/religion?s=t), we see that everybody has religion... even if it is his own personal religion.

2. While some religions are directed more at making slaves of their adherents, other religions are directed at giving adherents the maximum amount of freedom anyone can have, and still live in this life.

A third point is that some religions are directed at an afterlife.

The question isn't about having a religion. Your life theme is your religion. The question has to do with which religion is closest to the truth. Most important is the religion that correctly describes the afterlife, and how to get to the best position in it.
