After Snowden retweeted the Miller article to 3 million followers price has been going down almost two weeks now. I think we could see $16 - $17 unless the Monero developers/community come up with a strong positive PR campaign to offset the damage done.

Snowden is still within the intelligence community albeit acting in a position of controlled opposition. (Much like Putin). It is a false contrarian strategy designed (certainly in the case of Putin) to allow controlled allegiances with countries such as Iran and Syria, rather than them form dangerous alliances with China.
The fake cold war played out between the West and Russia is just that: fake. If there was genuine military counterpoint between the two, then they wouldn't be in bed together upstairs on the "International" Space Station, where China is strictly forbidden and is forced to conduct its own space program.
We have seen what happens to genuine contrarians who go against the grain. The fact that Edward Snowden is regularly trumpeted in the media without the full force of media censorship/smear/character assassination (that if anything promote him as a counter cultural icon) proves that his objectives are not quite as resistant to the power elites than is being advertised.
SNARK's relationship with a myriad of intelligence groups and governmental organisations, combined with Snowden's apparent approval, shows that this is nothing but a nefarious and complex system of controlled opposition, no different from the theatrics of someone like Alex Jones, albeit more muted.
