I think that very important question that we should ask is are we talking about 3000 $ net increase, or just bitcoin price rising up to 3000$?
Because if we are talking about the first option, then I would like to say that it is almost impossible with the current infrastructure, the blockchain itself is just not ready to maintain with such a price for one bitcoin, because that would attract massive amount of people.
We are already having issues, which is why nowadays are not so certain like before, it is still not said but there is a high chance of a hard-fork.

All that leads me to the conclusion, that most likely we are not ready to see 3000$/btc in this year, the price is not going to double so quick.
