Yeah, unfortunately the electrum servers are always the last thing the dev team seem to update, or they update them and it takes ages for the servers to catch up. One or the other. For new comers to the coin, the simplest thing for a lot of people is to use the electrum wallet. I would imagine a large portion of non-staking coin holders use electrum. It seems weird to leave these people hanging with transactions that are confirmed on the chain but unspendable in their wallets.

Basically, wait until the electrum server catches up and then use the core wallet if possible. it's less frustrating.
