Yes there are many who make money in long term.
You just need to research about the community and the progress roadmap taken by an altcoin.

I have been in forex for the past 8 years and from experience I can tell you that trading is a games of skills and knowledge! Those who make money from either forex, stocks and crypto currencies are professional and for you to become a professional trader you must spend time developing your skills the way am athlete developed they skills through training. Simple truth, trade demo until you see the crypto currencies markets as a fields'.
