I do not think that 10k satoshis or equivalent is too high for rain because its shared between 10+ players in most cases.

the minimum rain is 10k satoshi for btc. it's not big though. unless you want to rain always

10k seems okay. Anyway, it was a test to raise up min amounts of tips and rain. We'll consider to change it or not very soon.
