I've decided I am not a fan of Sapphire's 480. At least the batch that my 480 4GB OC+ came into this world with - a bundle of joy at first, but then it grows up - and it's still loud as fuck, un-ergonomic in general, smokes meth - does questionable shit because "fk the system, mannnnn" - no, Sapphire, fk you and the fat balding mongoose you rode in on then proceeded to google image search: "fan"and decided it's "xtreme!" so they carefully modify the extremely volatile core clock. Drivers? they ran a 'no-shit-driver-left-behind' programme and decided that after eating a packet of Natural flavoured rice crackers directly over the chipset they were so impressed by the aesthetics and mutl-coloured lighting that there was simply nothing more this card required other than to be released to public, Sapphire. Nitro. - written in different colours and 'edgy' typefaces because Photoshop was the only piece of software that the production team knew *generally* how to make enough squares and circles then over the next 6 weeks, manage to successfully get it from .psd format -> .bmp
Then. Nitro. 6 weeks later it was 2.9mb smaller, and achieved the set-task of having a transparent background.
The only positive of the Nitro was the 'wicked strong' meth that they later realised was the very embodiment, from that first keystroke, coming-up, to the 'competitive' pricing come-down once they realised they had just spent the past 3 months talking to a fat, baldling mongoose and looking at images of cieling fans in google images.
