He is 39 and she is 64. The difference is much more than 20 years. And he fell in love with her, when he was 15 and she was 40. Such a guy is unfit to be the president of any nation, much less France.

The world knows a lot of examples of unequal marriages and usually such marriages are more resistant to dissolution than marriage between people of the same age group. View a great Comedy, a French production titled "Pretend to be my boyfriend." Maybe then your views will change.
