I could use some help I have about a $1500 budget to spend what should I purchase? I would like to get 6 8G graphics cards and at least 1200 w pw supply.. What would you do in this situation?

Nvidia is better for Zec and a few other coins.

Amd is better for eth.

Since you want a six card rig I suggest getting an Evga 1300 G2. For the Psu

Look at Nvidia 1060 6gb cards.

I was going to purchase this "Ethos SSD 16 GB for Ethereum mining ETH ethosdistro configured / READY" but I was skeptical that it would be hacked in some way or the other since uI would be purchasing of off eBay

Why would you go for a 1060 over a 1070 or 1080? If it is about price he can pick a 1070/1080 and expand to 6 gpu's over time?
