I have several questions for you:
- How exactly Starcredits will be useful in your game ? I mean, are they to unlock new content, to progress in the game ? Can you play the game and not use any starcredits ? Would it be enjoyable to play the game without spending any ?
- On which gaming platforms do you plan to be released ? PCs, mac, console, mobile ? Steam, Origin ?
- Please tell me more about the players you target: age range, casual or dedicated gamers ?
- Are you developing a shop for the game ? How will it work exactly to buy starcredits after the ICO is finished ? Will be people be able to buy them against fiat ?

Star credits will influence the outcome of the story.
you need start credits to play the game (but i presume you can watch and enjoy the game simply watching the story unfold)
regarding platforms, it will be across many, internet mostly, from what i read. (so all mobile devices)
target range will be anyone who likes the Zombie/survival horror/ black mirror/puzzles -story feel.
A shop could be a good idea, in regards to a voting system, so in this case, you could vote on items in a "shop"
then someone (Actor/actress) could use the top voted item in the story. (If anyone uses this awesome idea, please give me Credit!)
