Not really. It's greed. And it's greed fuelled by greedier people who'll eventually shit on them from a great height.
No doubt NEM will settle higher than where it started this pump, but there'll be a lull for a while afterwards. It'll draw more attention and more people who'll hopefully see some real benefits and stick around. They might feel sad for a while though.
