Everything is possible so it's hard to say exactly but despite current relatively quick rise I don't think that price will touch 3000$ so soon. For that it takes time and all conditions on the market to be right. We can expect further pump but not without any limit and corrections made along the way.
I agree everything is possible but certain thing has more possibility to happen than other thing. Like for example in this case, who would have known that Bitcoin will touch more than $1400 today, but with regards to Bitcoin reaching $3000 either this year or within a year of this post is has a steep possibility. I think it is possible to reach $2000 in a year but reaching $3000 is quite ambitious. Though if ever Bitcoin scaling is solved, then there is no doubt, $3000 is easy or even surpass this amount in a year time.
