Don't try to use your exchange or coinbase address.
They transfer the deposited coins to other addresses the moment they receive them.
So , the deposit address is empty after some seconds...
Also you cannot control the exchanges wallet (you cannot send signed messages).

The benefit is for big exchanges as Polo, they can claim huge BTX amount...
On the other hand that could be good, the exchanges have the motivation to list and pump it...
