RX 400 SERIES ARE SELLING OUT--
If you can buy a new RX 400 series card, you are lucky. I do not have any RX 500 series cards, but they currently sell for less than a same-level RX 400 card.
On the other hand, R9 280X cards can be bought used for much less (1/2 price?). They have a wider bandwidth, and perform well.
I am sure that RX 500 series cards will be optimized before the Vega cards reach the market. Expect a price drop then.
I have a rig's worth of R9 280X cards on the shelf. I'll likely use them again before selling them. --scryptr
the 7950 (the one the 280x rebranded) are even cheaper.
