Please guys help us newbies to start trading by not wasting time on bad method to determine profitable coins.
What is your best strategy to see if the coin will be profitable or not?
I am not telling that there are steps which guarantees if the coin will be profitable, but just asking what steps you using?
I saw that good method is to read news,forums about particular coin, but which websites to check, what should I look in the articals, news?

In the last lines , you already told the most basic stretagy to understand that which altcoin will rise in the market and which of them is profitable .
Here I have the same Stretagy but have also another one which is really working for me .
Usually I searched about 3-4 altcoins which are at the rate of 1 to 10 Satoshi have that altcoin has no bulk selling orders ,.and bought these altcoins with 0.001btc in each and put them at double to the sell price .
I did the SE thing about 5-6 times and got real success to double my money each time .
Can you give us what those coins are and tell us when and at what price you bought and then what price you sold? There are many people in the forum that claim that they are trading profitably without any proof. It is time to change that.
There is also the long wait periods in your strategy. How long did you wait before the coins you bought doubled in price?
