Im the furthest thing from an expert but I just used the same app on my phone to send another transaction with a high fee and then everything was seen and approved within about 15 min. Cant help you with the science of it but it did work
usually to have it confirmed right away i change the 2 with 5,6 or 7
standard fee 0.0002712 BTC
Also always when you put a higher fee the miners will include your transaction in the next block
