We were 1000 Jan 1 we battled through China and their views on bitcoin, Bitcoin Unlimited, fears of a fork, and in 5 months gained 700. Japan is now fully on board, soon russia. 2000 is within reach I would place a target of 2,500 by end of year!
I think 2000 is a conservative estimate for btc. Japan approving bitcoin will set a precedent for other countries to follow suite. Bitcoin will become popularized as more and more countries adopt it.
Its hard to believe that every countries will start following the footsteps of Japan and for that to happen I think we need to wait for a really long time and the price of bitcoin is increasing on regular basis so I think now it won't be hard to achieve the price of $3k in the end of the year.
