the issue here is simple ...

the high pos that this coin was designed for is still a little bit away ...

so many many MANY people have just closed their wallets to wait for the high PoS blocks to come ... this inturn slows the blockchain to such a pace - that there are not many blocks being minted quickly enough ...

the coin was originally designed as a PoW / PoS hybrid - great idea ...

the coin was just suddenly changed to PoS ONLY - great idea - right? ...

wrong ...

because of the reason behind the coin in the first place - the switch to PoS only meant that the blockchain minting system was almost completely cut out altogether - because it relies on ONLY PoS minting now ... but how does that work? ... especially when almost ALL holders of the coin have their wallets closed and are waiting on the high PoS blocks to arrive - and you NEED to have the wallets open for PoS minting to take place ...

had the PoW NOT been taken away - the blockchain would have already hit high PoS blocks - and we would be seeing a LOT more trading and activity - and a LOT more coins in peoples wallets ...

so now - its a waiting game ...
