I think this is a good thing, I'm more glad bitcoin gold because if digital cash equal to store numbers, much but its worth a little because it is always exposed to inflation.
As of now bitcoin is more on being gold because it is not yet accepted to the stores as a payment method because it is not that popular yet and bitcoin is just getting popularity from this past few months and the few countries are just starting to notice bitcoin as a potential currency so this time, bitcoin is just like a gold but it will be like cash soon.
Responses such as this really expose the flaws of this poll. By comparing bitcoin to gold and cash there must be some qualities of each that you must be talking about. Are we talking about exclusively gold as value storage and cash as a payment method? If so, then you are right about bitcoin becoming more like cash eventually but being like gold in the present. Your point about inflation does not really make much sense, however. Bitcoin is in limited supply while other currencies are not. Regular cash goes through inflation because of the currency it is part of, not because it is cash. That is also beside the point, given that those do not seem to be the qualities being discussed in this thread.
