The motherboard seems extremely good for mining! you have 3 PCI-e x16 and 4 PCI-e 1x which makes it possible to install (if everything supports it, and it should) 7 GPUs with risers from the 1x slots 
. possible you would need a 16x riser from the slot directly above the 1x slot. Anyhow, with a decent PSU you could install just about any of the radeon 7950/7970/7990, R9 280/280x or other higher end GPU. Nvidia cards too from the 9xx and/or 1000-series!

Absolutely! a riser is simply an adapter with a cable, making it possible to extend your GPUs away from the mobo, making it better to cool/make space. This riser is 1x-> 16x and even though 1x ports are slower, they do not affect mining
