There is nothing wrong with UASF. Read: user-activated-soft-fork.But you know it doesn't matter if you fork the Bitcoin and create your own BSW crypto (Bitcoin-SegWit) if next the real users don't support it and keep making their transactions in BTC, right? 
Nope. Bitcoin Core remains the BTC after UASF even in the case of a split. Whatever BU does will make BU listed as BTU altcoin.
