After seeing the current scenario when the price of bitcoins have reached $1700 , i would not say that the price of bitcoins would go down to such an extend,with the advancement of bitcoins all around the globe,i would say that the price off never ever reach below $1000 .
Don't worry about that. There is no more hard forking will happen over bitcoin in upcoming months and years. We may see the little dips in the chart. However, BU and segwit will let the bitcoin to go down. I noticed bitcoin price around 1750$ for a bitcoin in the chart. If this trend continues, we will see the huge adoption in this year.
