my opinion there can be some frustration those days or weeks , but general trend should be up and only .
with near instant transaction litecoin will get more investor and more use , what is the point of paying high BTC fees and waiting hours for some coins to arrive ,

LN network first implementations are to be released in a month or so I guess, in-house testing is already underway for some time.
I believe what will make LTC price get higher is real life usage as in LN with low fees and rapid transactions.
Segwit is actually not really for LTC but BTC. Of course LTC benefited form it already but it will help BTC much more.
I believe LTC is not going anywhere and will raise.
Pre/Around Segwit the spike was up to 37 USD. Now it is lingering around 29-33 USD with fast up and downs.
I am watching polo since yesterday and saw many panic sells and panic buys.
I hope 30 USD+ will be its new base, though I will be in a little (virtual) loss in my table with this price as I cashed out some profits and raised my buy base price but I can wait for it.
LN expectations, first usage and hopefully its adoption in the market will make LTC around 40 at first.
50 USD of more? I do not know yet. Some even expects 75 USD for the end of this year.
I think it depends on LN activation and some financial bodies start to use it.
