Spam is "bulk mailing of commercial and other advertising or similar commercial messages to individuals who did not Express a desire to receive". There was not like this. It was ordinary communication. Is this spam?
One man's (claimed) "constructive posting" is another man's spam, but churning out mindless regurgitated posts entirely for signature payment on multiple accounts one after the other usually falls under this definition, but until you tell us what accounts were banned we can't help you. How many accounts did your "office" have banned?
