Thanks for answering. I just never realized it could be the reason for the ban or must be some other reason.
Spam is the primary reason for getting banned and it can be rather very different when it comes to the type/source:
1) Backlink spam bots.
2) Spam bots of other type ("bitcoin ponzi scam" anyone?).
3) Signature spam.
4) Activity/account farming with or without a signature.
After all, the concept of spam if it is not related to is very subjective.
The posts on that account are complete trash, end of discussion.
