I believe they are same thing. 'Adrenaline' is just the 'brand name' of our masternodes, as I told someone else.
I am guessing that there was an update to the masternodes in the past, which is the point when all nodes became .... adrenalized

Creating and setting up a masternode through the Adrenaline tab is basically doing the same thing as if you manually followed the steps from the masternode setup tutorial video.
It is just easier and faster, since it is doing a lot of that work for you.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but even if you set up a 'normal' node as you put it, it still shows up in the Adrenaline Node count?
