I would already consider bitcoin as a global currency as people from all over the globe accept it as a method of payment and acknowledge that it is valuable.

Sorry to burst your bubbles as this is a false generalization. And you committed a fallacy of hasty generalization with that assertion. Bitcoin is not yet that popular beyond the first and second world countries. The third world countries are still trying to grasp with what it really is let alone accepting it.


Just because it's available worldwide that doesn't make it a global currency, maybe if you look at it in the way that everyone is able using it. Otherwise, I won't be considering it a global currency until it is officially accepted as one.
