The major drawback for RCB team was that Kohli and AB missed first few games and even Gayle was not in the form and they also missed the Rahul in their team who has been doing so well for them as a opener so RCB never had a good opening pair in this season which took them on back foot since the beginning of the tournament.
I think injury was the main problem and ABD is coming back after a long break from injury and Kohli was injured too,Gayle was not that consistent and they really could not perform well as a team and this was the worst year for them as they lost most of the matches.It will be a good humiliating experience for Kohli and i am sure he will learn from these experiences and lead team India to more victories.
The best thing was that kohli got his form back in last match where he scored half century and that is good news for India as Champions Trophy is round the corner and everyone wants kohli to be in good form so lets hope he continues his form from here which will help India in champions trophy.
