Until ASICs are a bit more available for BTC i'm thinking i'm going to go for LTC with GPUs for now.  I do have the option of free power at work (providing the machines are quiet enough)

Is it possible to get 6 GPU's in one rig?  I'm thinking 6 x Gigabyte 7950's  on a Gigabyte Motherboard which has 5 x 16X PCIE and 1 x 1X PCIE?  Obviously using passive extenders to seperate the cards, and one converter to 1x to 16x?  And a big ass PSU.
