I believe that it will hit 5.000$ in a really short period of time before going down to 1.800-2.000. To prevent the network from stopping I think that some governments/banks might start building huge mining farms to keep the network alive, much against the idea of being decentralized though
I've read an article about the prediction of breadwallet. They are even saying that we are going to have a bubble and that can lead up to $10,000 but it will popped immediately and if I'm not mistaken they are saying that it is possible to happen for this year. I hope this is going to happen very soon so that I can sell some of my btc.
