What Is MoneyBadger?
MoneyBadger is a web service that allows individuals to send money on a blockchain to verifiable social identities while ensuring their financial privacy remains protected. We enable this through having you send money to a phone number, email id, twitter handle, or reddit username and hiding the source of your funds (wallet address) simultaneously. The service has been in beta since December 2016 and has been routinely tested by users around the world. Our objective is to make the remittance of money easier by enabling it to even be sent to mobile numbers to any part of the globe.

Sending money through MoneyBadger is designed to be as lean and simple a process as possible. The steps are as follows -
1) Choose your Medium - Email, Twitter, Phone number or Reddit Account
2) Enter the amount you wish to send in USD, GBP, EUR, or BTC denominations
3) Send the money to the provided wallet address and wait for confirmation
Once confirmed, we send a code to the persons account, which can be used to redeem Bitcoin to their personal wallet. This ensures that your wallet/address remains anonymous while ensuring the money reaches the right person.

What Can MoneyBadger Be Used For?
1. Remittance
You can now send money to any part of the globe with a functional mobile number and local bitcoin exchange. Once the code is received, the individual can provide the wallet address of the exchange and receive money in their personal bank accounts. This is useful for use cases where recipients are not accustomed to setting up wallets or securing them.
2. Social Media Tipping
Although the service is not built as a tipping entity, we encourage users to send money to social media accounts as it is the quickest means to verify social identity at the time of a transaction. Having a peek at the social media profile ensures one has a basic understanding of the kind of person they are dealing with and also leaves little to no room for error in ensuring the money reaches the right person. Send money to your favorite influencer or cause through MoneyBadger and well ensure it reaches the right hands and nobody else.
3. Donations to Causes
Whilst there are many wallets that allow non-profits to send money through a normal wallet address, none provide credibility to the fact that the money actually does reach them. Since all transactions through us are sent to a verifiable account, if a non-profit lists their email address as the address to which donations are to be sent, you may use our service for easy and efficient transfer of Bitcoins to them. Having an email address that is linked to their domain ensures that the money reaches the right person.
4. Escrow / Personal Trades
Often times, fake accounts are used to scam innocent traders out of thousands of dollars in slack or community based trading groups. Our service provides a simple, intuitive means to ensure the money is sent to the right person.
5. Bulk Payments
We have also designed a feature that allows individuals to send Bitcoin to multiple addresses with associated amounts, with the click of a button. You can currently send Bitcoin to up to 50 addresses. This is especially useful in cases like signature campaigns where multiple payments have to be sent to multiple addresses, each with a unique amount. All you need to do is click on the Bulk transfer tab, enter the wallet addresses and associated amounts separated with a comma and click on send. This will allow you to save money by avoiding mining fees, it will increase your privacy, and it will also save you a lot of time.
