From a Darwinian point of view it's bad for the species, considering same sex partners can't have a child of their own, they can only adopt. Anyway I think it's fair to accept it. We have to take into consideration their feelings and needs, they are people too and we're not in the middle ages anymore.
This is the path of degradation, such couples can not have a child and they need to be treated. They can have sex, but you do not need to propagate this and tell the children about the normal family.
