Why one need them? Is there some priority (discount) in front of Cash or Credit Cards?
This might be a way how to buy some food with them (If You have such network shop near at You) , but this is not a food shopping with BTC.
?If your gift card is loaded with bitcoin and you buy food with it then you are using bitcoin to buy food.
