Quoting is absolutely fine unless you are making a post with something that has already been said, in other words - repeating. And repeating things could lead you towards spamming and may create your wrong impression in the eyes of Mods, so you should take care about that, rest you are a member of this forum just like us and you too have the rights to do whatever you want (obviously limited to correct things).
