It doesn't look like a bet to me, but it does look like v1 is offering to give you 1 BTC when BTC hits $2k. It wouldn't have been unclear whether he was joking or not without the 'screenshot for reference' line he followed up with - that makes me think he was serious. It also fits with what I know of v1 - historically he has been very generous, giving out money when he really didn't need to.
Phish opened up a support ticket to recover the cody account.
V1rt was in JD chat this afternoon and said if he could log into cody that he would pay him.

Phish is goin to give me .1 BTC, I'm going to give V1rt .05 BTC back, Phish is going to donate .9 BTC to a charity of Phishes choice.
