There are some major difference between trading and investment, investment refers to a amount of money which you can put any market for getting a output, on the other hand, trading indicates random transaction of money, basically trading is just like business, if you always trying to create profit by buying and selling then it should be called trading.

Good and investing is just saying you want to idle your money for future purposes whether you will withdraw entirely after sometime or partially in the same time frame. Trading for me would be just exchanging goods with a higher price than when you acquired it. Sometimes they also come hand hand as you invest then wait for the price to go up then trade it.
