I don't think the devs should get disheartened by what is going on in Poloniex. I am not sure what is going on and if the pumps there are real or not. I spoke to HR in PMs and he suggests there is a lot more people coming to cryptos and because Poloniex is the largest exchange they going there first.

Gulden devs you are honestly the best , don't let the poor price or should I say unfair price demotivate your work. Your work on projects like PoW2 is what crypto needs to move forward.
