In long term probably no. However have seen professional gamblers in black jack and poker but not slots etc 
It's hard to push your will on becoming rich in gambling by just playing slots. I'm seeing a lot of professional poker players too that are making a lot of money with it. I've got a friend that is always playing in poker tournaments and when I'm trying to look at his updates, his profits are not a joke. It's a big bucks.
