I'm betting they sold into a hole, and we'll never see those prices again. Look at what ETH is doing with all their potential vulnerabilities, etc.! When people finally figure out that only LTC offers proven secure storage of value at this level, it'll do the same, if not much better. It's like comparing apples and oranges though, so it's not as though ETH doesn't have it's rightful place in the world, but from a secure storage of value standpoint, as well as fast and convienent medium of exchange, there's no rival for Litecoin - IMHO.
