I am *completely new* to Altcoins, but am getting fed-up with the problems of Bitcoin confirmation times and high fees. I am considering alternatives for some of my crypto holdings.
I saw no obvious thread for altcoin beginners here just now.
What "Alts" are reasonably easy to use yet fairly liquid (easy to buy, etc.)?
At this point, ease-of use is most important to me, if I go down "Alt Road", I may later want to look at features like better than BTC anonymity for example.

LTC is a good option when it comes to ease of usage.
ETH is another good option with less confirmation time.
ETH is not good for OROBTC. He is looking for something that is the closest to bitcoin. Ethereum has a very large and growing blockchain and that will be something that will make it hard to scale. He will then be back again to the same problems bitcoin is having. Litecoin already has segwit in place and it is ready to scale.
