Bitstamp is best EU exchange. But they are trying too hard, this may results in security flaws.
1) they accepts 3 confirmation
2) easy password reset and send via email (just one click, simple for hackers)
3) bot can operate only without 2-factor auth. (high risk)
... still I'm using their services :-)
They also have a buggy trading engine, fucked up orderbook, kinda stealing with the fees via ultra lame implementation, not to mention buggy front end JS and fucked up interface, such that you need 3 open tabs to trade.
The next best exchange. So fuckin sad.
ya a few times i had isuess but has it crashed? has it made the market go down significantly? have they had to take there servers off line for 12+ hours? if they do go down will it hurt bitcoin to the point that it will take years (mayby) to recover. just saying. we need to think out side of "the gox"
bitstamp is for me the better of the two evils. if gox is going up stamp is behind so i know to buy if its going down i know to sell. ill be ahead of the game. ya there are bad things but there are also good thing. if you have 100S of coins then ya not the most secure place to put it but if you want quick trades and you coins to fiat fast with no lag then for sure stamp. good for about a hundo coins. but i have never had a buy/sell order that didnt go threw, as in orders like ten up ten down. they are a good exchange but if you want to stick with gox that is fine but the noobs should know about this exchange and gox should not have .70% of the market imo.
