both of them is difference, but to make it easier to understand, when you investing, you trust your money to someone and you don't need and can't do anything with your money until certain period, when you trading, you used your skill and knowledge to generate profit and you need to some work in trading, you need to pay attention to the chart and keep the updated news everyday

so when investing you depend on somebody else when trading you depend on yourself
Yes when you invest its like you are taking a risk cause you will give your money to someone. and just wait for it to double and get some addition money. but there is also a time that you may be scam so please be careful so that youll not regret it in the end.
In trading you just trade your money into another type. you need to be wise for you to earn some money.

LOL. The things you mentioned that differentiated these two things are pretty much the same and it just goes to show that there's really not much difference between investing and trading. Trading can be considered as an investment in itself if even by the definitions that you've mentioned above
