You're talking nonsense. The vast majority of people, including myself, wouldn't be capable of being the 'public face' of Monero.

FP is, de facto, that public face and, as such, has a responsibility to the community. Forget about the money. Forget about the speculators. Think of the people who have invested a great deal of their time, effort and love into this project. I think he showed enormous disrespect to them tonight.

His meta stance of 'I'm the biggest troll scammer and no-one should believe a word I say' only goes so far. It's a joke that stopped being funny a long time ago.

I do get it, actually. A certain faction of Monero people like to believe that if you don't 'get the joke' then you don't really understand what Monero is all about.
