Monero obviously isn't for you. Dash, which it's emphasis on marketing and paucity of technology, seems a better fit.
If Fluffy and the rest of the team despises speculators then why can't they just work under the radar and let the technology speak for itself instead of constantly yacking on twitter and btctalk? There are LOTS of coins being developed that aren't being hyped and the devs aren't showman and because of it the price remains stable.
