I only gamble for fun. I have tried various gambling games and betting strategies, but the end result is always the same, I lose. Now I just gamble for fun.

Gambling for fun does not guarantee you will continue to win right? I still do not understand how we have fun when all we get is defeat? When we win we will be happy, then what pleasure can we get when we lose? When we make a profit, then we are happy, so we must win. Something still distracted my thoughts about gambling for fun.

Yes the only way to get pleasure from gambling is if we get a win, if someone plays gambling then gets lost but he remains happy, I think he is a rich man. Or maybe from losing it he will find a new strategy for the next game and he is happy about it.

If a person can control their emotions while gambling - its well and good. The importance of controlling emotions is to stop an addiction from developing and not going broke all of a sudden. If we think of winning back a lost amount the next day the cycle will continue and will not stop until the net loss is huge. Chasing losses is not a good thing to do, specially in EV- games.
