According to the ICO Whitepaper, 10% of MobileGo gaming platform profits are to be allocated to buyback and burn of MGO tokens. What about the other 90% of profits? Do MGO holders have an ownership claim to any of the remaining 90% of MobileGo gaming platform profits?
Good question. MGO holders do not have ownership of the remaining 90%, however if possible, greater than 10% of profit can go to buying back MGO tokens. 10% is our minimum. If the store becomes stable and more profitable, we may increase the amount of profit that goes to buy back. But the remaining 90% will go to further development, taxes, operational costs, and remarketing.
Condensed from the MGO Whitepaper:"Gamers joining the MobileGo Gaming Platform after its release by July 30 will create a user profile upon signup. This profile will document their ongoing social status within the system, based on various factors including games played, referrals, and social interaction on the platform. Gamers using the MobileGo gaming platform may purchase in-game content from game providers using Gamecredits. Gamecredits may be acquired with credit cards and other local payment methods using a proprietary payment gateway on the Platform. The platform will allow unlimited deposits for purchase of Gametokens.
In addition to using Gametokens for in-game purchases, gamers may also own and hold MobileGo (MGO) tokens. Gamers whose profiles show they hold MGO tokens are eligible for benefits including: (1) coupon discounts on Gamecredit purchases made on the platform; (2) private beta testing of new game releases by game providers; (3) possible special eligibility in centralized gaming tournaments set up by game developers on the platform to promote their games, with winners receiving Gamecredit prizes; (4) free entrance into VIP sponsored tournaments with real cash prizes; (5) decentralized gamer-to-gamer match play as well as tournaments set up by gamers on the platform using MGO tokens as entry fees / prizes and run using smart contracts; (6) access to a decentralized mobile gamer-to-gamer marketplace for virtual item purchases."
@Jack - I've got lots of questions based on these Whitepaper sentences / phrases, but in this post I'll start with the obvious. Can a platform user get MGO tokens using credit cards and other local payment methods just like they are going to buy Gametokens, using the "proprietary payment gateway"? Will MobileGo need a financial services license to sell these tokens (either Game or MGO or both) in exchange for cash or local currency, and if so, what's the plan for getting that license and what country is it registered in? If you guys are NOT going to be the financial services provider to get MGO tokens to gamers, how WILL gamers be getting MGO tokens?
Hey Mal your reputation making money is outstanding 👏👏 can you please tell me what arenyour expectations in MobileGo, and what is your price prediction for MGO project.
