there must be something higher hierarchy than us,there is no doubt about that
call it God or any other name, we at our level of cognition will not be able to understand

Well, at the same time that despite all the sarcasm of this question, many people turn to God at a time when they are really very bad and there is a desperate situation in life and therefore they seek help from Godcall it God or any other name, we at our level of cognition will not be able to understand

However, that's why Jesus came and died on the cross. It wasn't because we were praying to Him to save us. Many people still don't want to be saved... at least if you look at their words and actions. But Jesus did the job anyway, before anybody had a chance to pray.
