My apologies; I tested with an address under the wrong header. Any idea whether the seed is in a standard format that either the BIP39/BIP32 javascript tool, or Electrum, will take?
I just tried my seed on blockchain.info to import it on Electrum desktop wallet and it works, Just click the BIP39,in options checkbox after you input your seed in the box. And it will works. So the answer is mentioned already. And btw my electrum is 2.7.1.7
