There is another aspect which you didn't make particularly clear, i.e. which kind of life you actually need. You said you are 53, this is indeed not the same as 23 (though this is still less extreme than the other extreme) but it is not 83 either (the other extreme). Basically, at 53 people can lead a rather shameless (or should I really say shameful?) life provided they are healthy overall, which is not rare at that age. So what do you mean by peaceful life actually?
